The nose has lime, icing powder and a hint of banana. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has fennel and thyme, with cinnamon and ginger. The finish is ginger and fennel.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding mottling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains peach and apricot, and loses the banana and lime. The body gains some apricot and more ginger and loses the thyme. The finish gains more ginger.

A decent expression of a normally sherry-mad distillery.

One for autumn evenings.
