The nose has light, crisp smoke without notes of liquorice and distant dry bonfires. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has burning hay, toffee and hints of plasticine and leather towards the finish. The finish is crisp smoke and toffee.

Water brings out thick whorling that rapidly expands and settles into brief mottling. The nose gains more toffee, and a hint of lemon. The body gains citrus. The finish also gains citrus.

There's a good number of folk who don't like this distillery because of TCP. This is their dram. A magnificent, subtle dram. One for starting a winter's evening.
