The nose has soft peat smoke, vanilla and golden syrup, with hints of tar. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has vanilla, peat smoke, marzipan and a hint of lemon. The finish is sweet vanilla and that peat smoke.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that dissipates quickly. The nose gains more smoke and some hints of smokey bacon. The body gains more smoke, and more lemon. The finish gains some vanilla and lemon, but is still smokey!

A lovely sweet peated whisky - a summer Islay!
