The nose has peaches, toffee and a little apricot. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has toffee, peaches, apples, gingerbread and cardamom. The finish is apples and cardamom.
Water brings out tight, thin whorling that dissipates quickly. The nose gains more toffee and some caramel, loses the apricot. The body gains caramel and cinnamon, and and loses the peaches and gingerbread. The finish is gains cinnamon and swaps the apples for gingerbread.
A rather dry dram, with plenty of decent fruitiness - one for winter mornings, to chase the night away.
