10 years old, distilled 5th June 2008, 63.1% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead, 278 bottles, dram price B

The nose has lemon, pineapple and shortbread. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, pineapple, mango, vanilla, shortbread, and then cinnamon at the end. The finish has lemon, vanilla and shortbread.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains mango, but loses nothing. The body gains more pineapple and mango, plus some more cinnamon and hints of nutmeg. The finish gains toffee and nutmeg.

A superb combination of fruits, but a bit too spicy for me after water.

One for summer afternoons.
