SMWS 59.60 - The Milkman with a red oven gloveThe nose has hessian, vanilla, milk and hints of green apple. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has vanilla, hessian, and milk bottle sweeties. The finish has vanilla and a little dry oak.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into lingering mottling. The nose gains oak furniture and loses the milk. The body gains a little wood spice and loses the milk bottle sweeties. The finish gains cinnamon.

An intriguing dram with a very daft name. Quite drinkable, but a bit too spicy for me after water.

One for autumn mornings, on your cereal.

Technical score: 3/5

Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
