SMWS 71.52 - 'Make hay while the sun shines'The nose has plums and tins of paint - the plums remain after the paint has burned off. Then there's dry earth, fennel and mint leaves. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, plums, and mint - and soft toffee. The finish is lemon and fennel.

Water brings out thin whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains lemon, and loses the plum and mint leaves. The body gains lemon and a little hint of cinnamon and oak shavings. The finish is lemon, cinnamon and fennel.

A curious dram - bright and sweet, with bite. One for spring afternoons.
