The nose has rich notes - sultanas, orange, cinder toffee and hints of tobacco. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has cinder toffee, liquorice, ash and oranges. The finish is ash and sultanas.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles into lingering mottling. The nose gains caramel and more oranges, but is still somewhat ashen. The body gains ginger and toffee. The finish gains oranges.

This is the dram for the fan of heavy sherrying - one for winter firesides, leather wingbacks and late nights.
