The nose has oranges, vinegar and a hint of ash. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has oranges, cod liver oil, vinegar and a hint of ash. The finish has vinegar and ash.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that mottles for a brief while. The nose gains caramel and a slight herbal note. The body gains caramel, red wine and more of the ash. The finish gains more ash and some red wine.

A decent session dram, light in flavours but - after water - big in presence. One for evenings with friends.

Personal preference: I'd have another dram.
