Estuaries of the sky

Estuaries of the sky

These clouds remind me of tidal estuaries on an aerial photograph, with little tributaries forming in the deeper channels as the tide is out.

A mirror in the sky of what happens on the ground.

Trailblazer

Trailblaizer

Kind of self-explanatory, don't you think?

Taken whilst on a walk from Penge East to Birckbeck Station. The church spire is St Johns.

Pink Clouds

Pink Clouds

Another beautiful sunset, and I have no idea where I took it.

I know it was in Beckenham. I've taken a guess based on some things, but it's not quite right.

But then, this is one of the last of the many photos I took that night - and one taken whilst walking home, it seems. It was evidently an evening well spent.

Chaos

Chaos

Chaos. Yet the mind finds structure, making this a strangely pleasing photograph as outlines and forms jump out at you momentarily whilst you look at it.

Genie

Genie

This wonderful cloud formation looks like a Genie coming out of a lamp.

I don't need much more of a reason, do I?

Incoming Clouds

Another skyscape, this one a little flat.

Incoming Clouds

I like clouds, and am on record as liking clouds.

I was recently just wandering around on a Sunday, and really liked the sky. There's a nice texture and flow to the clouds here, with a little break here and there to keep it interesting.

Even better, as I looked up and took photos of it, others in the park also looked up and saw it. So this was very much a worthwhile photo to take...
