The nose has butter croissants, apricots, peaches and flaked almonds. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has tea cakes, apricots, almonds and cinnamon. The finish has apricots and cinnamon.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains more almond and loses the peaches. The body gains more cinnamon and some star anise. The finish gains more cinnamon.

A touch too much spice after water, but delightful fruit and pastries before that.

One for spring afternoons.
