11 years old, distilled 25th July 2007, 58.0% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead, 312 bottles, dram price B

The nose has pears, lychee, bananas and a damp cardboard note. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lychee, banana and then vanilla. The finish has vanilla and banana with a little cinnamon.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains red apples and more lychee. The body gains more apple and vanilla. The finish gains more vanilla and red apple.

Not complex, but decently constructed and quite pleasant.

One for autumn evenings.
