The nose is quite subtle - light citrus notes, then a hint of wax jackets. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has oranges, satsumas, waxed wood and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is oranges and waxed wood.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles very quickly and almost mottles but doesn't quite manage it. The nose gains frangipane and hints of peach. The body gains peach and loses some of the cinnamon. The finish gains a little peach.

This is a subtle but very well balanced dram.

One for summer evenings as the sun goes down.
