The nose has marmalade, plums, and hints of tobacco. The mouthfeel is rich with a little cling. The body has oak furniture, butterscotch, vanilla and salted caramels, with hints of orange fondant towards the finish. The finish is sweet - butterscotch and oak.
I did not add water until the very end, as I preferred to let the flavours build - slightly herbal and spicy notes appeared, alongside some liquorice.
Water brought short-lived whorling, and more of the oak and herbal notes.
A decent after dinner drink.
