SMWS 41.101 - Hard to put downThe nose is initially reminiscent of Armagnac, but quickly delivers oranges and hints of tobacco. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has oranges, tobacco, blackcurrant and a hint of cloves. The finish is oranges and cloves, with hints of oak.

Water brings out thick, compact whorling that settles into lingering mottling. The nose has less orange and gains pear and cinnamon. The body gains mandarins, peach and a little vanilla. The oranges and oak are still present. The finish is sweeter, gaining vanilla.

A superb example of this distillery, for evenings catching up with old friends.
