The nose is light - spring blossoms, lemon zest and a hint of nectarine. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has a dry alcohol burn, then lemon and ginger with a little apple hint. The finish is drying - lemon.

Water brings out thick short lived whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains toffee and loses a little of the blossoms. The body gains more lemon and honey, with no loss of flavours. The finish gains ginger.

A decent but aggressive dram - I think it'll be great in a hip flask.
