The nose has caramelised onions, ginger, and a hint of sultanas. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has oranges, ginger, cinnamon, sultanas, and hints of nutmeg. The finish is cinnamon and ginger with a little orange.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains more orange notes and loses the caramelised onions and ginger. The body moves towards less ginger and more cinnamon, with the sultanas absent. The finish loses the ginger and gains more oranges.

A very nice understated sherrying, for autumnal evenings.
