The nose has sultanas, raisins and figs, with some hints of oranges and tobacco. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has fresh orange juice, refined sugar, cough syrup and sultanas, and hints of walnuts and tobacco pouches. The finish is orange zest, walnuts and a hint of tobacco.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains more sultanas and some tobacco, and loses the oranges. The body gains more tobacco, mandarins and some hints of old polished oak furniture. The finish gains polished oak.

A delightful sweet sherried dram - one for winter afternoons.
